| Wedding in Nebraska by an Orange County wedding photographer | 10.08.2009 |
Last Saturday I shot a wedding in Lincoln, Nebraska. The bride is actually a very talented wedding photographer in her own right, Leah Lund. I met her through the [ b ] School. She told me she was a fan of mine and wanted to know if I'd come to Nebraska to be a part of her day. Of course I am willing to go anywhere in the world with my camera to shoot a wedding and since I had never been to the Cornhusker state before last week, I jumped at the chance. I had a chance to meet Leah at the WPPI convention this past February and I've kept in touch with her throughout the year, so when I showed up in Lincoln last weekend, I felt like an old friend with a fancy camera... which is always my goal. I also love shooting weddings for other photographers since they know how I like to work and it makes it easier to do what I do.
I had a wonderful time at the wedding. I couldn't have felt more welcomed by the friends and family of the couple. The weather was a little sketchy the day before the wedding, but Saturday turned out to be a beautiful day.
Check out the sweet Manolo's:

She was telling me for the months leading up to the wedding how hot her bridesmaids are. I concur.

We had some time between the ceremony and the reception, so we stopped by a local cornfield for some portraits. That's what people do in Nebraska right? I love the background and the light in these signature relaxed portraits:

This shot is in the running for my potential Christmas card. One of these girls grabbed my butt. I'm not sure which one, but ladies- I have a girlfriend! Behave!
