So stoked that football is back! Even though the Cowboys got spanked by the flippin' Raiders in pre-season the other night, I expect Dallas to have a stellar year since Romo & Jessica broke up.

I am organizing my loft office this afternoon. It's crazy the amount of cords, cables & wires that are in there. I'd hire one of those companies that specialize in organizing the cords and such, but that seems so lazy. How hard can it be to organize some cables? I'll finish the job myself thank you.

Did y'all see yesterday's Angel game? After blowing a couple of leads, the Orioles tied it up 8-8 in the bottom of the 9th and after getting out of bases loaded jams in the 11th and 12th innings, the Orioles bullpen finally gave it up to the tune of 9 runs in the top of the 13th for the Halos. I almost felt bad for the birds. Almost.

Last week I mentioned the Social Weddings Apps on Facebook since I went to the Mariner's game with the founder John Mitchell. He has personally offered to donate $1,000 to the charity of my choice if I can get 500 fans on my page here (I only have 36 night now, so I need some serious help). Brides planning their wedding can use this free service right through their Facebook profile and professional wedding vendors can also get a free listing here. Once I hit the mark, I'll list a few of my favorite charities and let's y'all vote on who gets the $$$. He didn't put a time limit on it, but I'd love to get it done by the end of the month. Please help me!

Last week, Joe Photo and I had breakfast with our high school photo teacher, Jay McIllwee. Joe had him a few years before I did, but when I first met Joe, he and I became instant friends as soon as we found out we both were inspired to take up photography by the same man. Jay is an amazing teacher and an inspirational human being.

Shout out of the week goes to my friend Paul Mobley, who got me a signed copy of Tribes from Mr. Seth Godin himself. Tribes is a book about leadership, and when I read it last December after launching the [ b ] School, I felt so validated because the book confirmed that we were on the right track. It's an awesome book that I recommend to everyone. It's right up there with "How to Win Friends and Influence People" and "Selling the Invisible" as my favorite business books.
