| Where should we go? | 05.22.2009 |
One of my favorite things about our recent trip to Europe was our impromptu trip to Istanbul. When Jessica & I were planning our trip, we knew we'd have a few days between our Stockholm & Gothenburg workshops and we were trying to figure out where we should go. We are both pretty organized people and like to plan things. I am a list guy and like to have the all the details worked out well in advance. I am a big fan of confirmation numbers, reservations and I certainly like to have the details taken care of, especially when traveling.
I don't even remember who suggested it, or how it came up, but when we decided just to "wing it" and go with the flow, I was both nervous and excited. Never in my life have I showed up to an airport not knowing where I was going. That was before we arrived at the Arlanda airport in Stockholm two weeks ago. I really did enjoy traveling that way and I plan, or lack there of planning, to do it more in the future.
