How 'bout them Cowboys! They sure looked sharp in the season opener yesterday. Romo was confident, T.O. was great and the new rookie running back Jones looked impressive (so did Barber). I sure love Sundays in the fall, especially after a long wedding on Saturday. I turn into a professional couch potato and I had a super chill day relaxing with my dad, Matt & Caden. We watched a little bit of just about all of the games. My morning started watching the NY Bretts and seeing Farve's debut with his new team... he looked pretty good for an old guy. We were also watching the Chiefs vs. Patriots game since Matt is a KC fan. That sucks about Brady... I just heard he's out for the season. After Dallas dismantled the Browns, we switched over to watch the end of the Charger/Panther game. What a finish! Too bad the Chiefs couldn't score a TD after being first and goal on the 5 with 50 seconds left. Anyway... I had a great Sunday and I am stoked football is back!

I am also stoked Entourage is back. I though that was a decent episode and it looks like it's going to be an exciting season.

Anyone watch True Blood? I have it on the DVR, but haven't watched it yet. Maybe tonight. Please leave comments about any other TV shows you think I should be watching (no reality TV though... i hate that sh*t).

The Yankees are in town to play the Angels. I think I am going to have to hit up a game in the next day or two. Sad that the Yankees won't be making the playoffs for the first time in like 200 years? They've gotta be kickin' themselves for letting Joe Torre go with that BS offer they made him. I know they've had tons of injuries... but they've had tons of injuries in years past and still made the playoffs.

I am about to get my travel on. In the next 60 days I will be in Kansas, Antigua, Napa, NYC, Mexico, Naples, FL and Las Vegas. Be sure to follow my Twitter for details on potential GTG's.

Both Righteous Kill and Burn After Reading open this Friday. I want to see them both, but the dilemma is which should I see first? I think a double feature may be in order.

Lastly, September is Ovarian Cancer awareness month, and one of my mom's dear friends is battling it right now, and she asked me to spread the word. If you'd like to make a donation, it sure would be nice. To find out more about the Women's Cancer Research Foundation, click the ribbon below:
