One of my favorite brands in Oakley. The make high end performance sunglasses (among other things like watches, shoes and apparel). While they may not be the hippest, most fashionable, trendy shades around... few can argue with the fact they they are the best made sunglasses in the world.
The founder of Oakley, Jim Jannard used to come into the photo lab that I worked at when I was in high school. I got to know him a bit over the years and even shot two of his daughters weddings. I was always so impressed with his vision for his company and his passion for making the best performance sunglasses in the world. From their website: "It's in our DNA to identify problems, create inventions and wrap those inventions in art. And simply to make things better than anyone thought possible."
In years past, I was actually able to shoot several events for Oakley including share holder meetings, parties and even a tour of the building when it opened in Foothill Ranch back in the 90's (the place in amazing).
I also used to love the interchangeable lenses and ear-stems when i was in Jr. High. I love Oakleys because they are super comfortable, light and made so well.
Anyway, here are just a few snaps of myobsession collection and FYI, I think I've only paid for a couple pairs in my entire life. It's nice having hook ups!

I am currently sporting the CROSSHAIR model (top center) and the clear glasses on my left are my poker shades (they are slightly mirrored so it's hard to see in but easy to read the cards).
