Last night I hosted a little shin dig to watch the Cowboys vs. Packers game and to play some cards. What says "the holidays" like football and gambling?
Of course the Cowboys won and locked up the first NFC playoff slot and are favored to have home field advantage as long as they are still in the playoffs. I was so happy about the win that I didn't even mind that I got knocked out of the poker tournament so early. I couldn't catch a hand all night.
I love this time of year. Holiday parties are super fun. I have some fun things coming up next month and I look forward to the traditions and spending time with friends and family.

(Don't get me started on why the little man was wearing a Packer's jersey - Matt was obviously trying to push my buttons. And don't get me wrong, I like the cheese heads and the rest of the Packers just fine, so long as they aren't playing the Boys!)
