This past weekend I found myself in Stonington, Connecticut at the
Saltwater Farm Vineyard for a beautiful fall wedding. The bride is actually a
photographer herself, and I always feel honored when other photographers choose me to document their day. I also feel very grateful when couples go to the extra effort and expense to fly me out to their weddings, so in this case... I was extra excited to make the trip. As always, it's my goal to capture relaxed portraits, amazing details and real moments. Here are a few of my favorite images.
The bride had a back up plan just in case it rained, including her sweet rain boots. Thankfully we didn't need them as it turned out to be a very nice day.
The bride's mom did a few last second alterations:

These two were so cute together:
The venue was amazing. It used to be a World War II airplane hanger, and the bride's grandfather was in the service during the war, and her father was a Captain in the Navy.
The colors hadn't quite changed just yet, but it was still gorgeous back there.
These two actually met playing ultimate frisbee, so they tossed the disc around for a few minutes during the cocktail hour:
The groom is a woodworker, and he made all of the save the dates (as well as many other fixtures at the reception):
