Hey there! My name is Becker and I am a wedding photographer from Orange County, California who specializes in capturing relaxed portraits, amazing details and real moments for the coolest brides and grooms on the planet.
This blog follows both my personal and professional life, and features images from the weddings I shoot, the places I travel and the friends and family members that mean so much to me. It's basically like my own personal photo album combined with an information source for my current and potential clients and a source of inspiration and education for other photographers. This site is a little more informal and I just want to give everyone a sense of who I am, and what I am all about. Thanks for visiting.

| Whoa! The Kingdom is so good! I have been looking forward to this movie for so long, and the reviews have been excellent, that I was afraid that it wouldn't be able to live up to my expectations. Thankfully it did. I am not going to give anything away, but I just liked how the opening tied the movie into current events and it made it seem so real. Like the commercial says, the last half hour is gripping... I was on the edge of my seat! The cast was awesome, the acting was great. It made it onto my top ten list of all time. It was intense. Go see it! |

| Joe Photo and John "Juanito" Mireles are offering a unique, two day workshop in Palm Springs that is certainly worth checkin out. Joe is the most open, sharing, passionate photographer I know and aside from myself, John knows more about marketing and branding than anyone in the business (I only mention that to tweak John!). But seriously, it sounds like an amazing time and I am certain it will be different than just about any other workshop being offered this year. Just check out the trailer: |

| Cords, Cables & Such |

| You may or may not remember my "collection" of remote controls from a while back on my old blog, but I think I actually may be in need of an intervention with my cords and cable "collection". It's not that I set out to collect cords and cables, but in all of my pack-rattiness... it just sorta happened. And I am not referring to the ones that are in use and plugged in causing the huge fire hazard in my house... I am talking about the dresser full on them in my spare bedroom. This morning I decide to pure my demons and get rid of a few of them, but when I tossed them on the floor to decide which ones may come in handy in the future or not, I saw a great photo op and "I turned my camera on" (don'tcha just love that song?) |

This is a public service announcement to all of my clients:
Remember, if you would like to receive your album(s) in time for the holidays, we need to receive your order by October 1st.
So sit down this weekend and make your final selections, and get them to us as soon as possible on Monday.
Final drafts must be approved without any more changes by October 31st so we can work on the albums in November and get them bound in December.
Remember, all events will be reposted during the month of November for the last chance to order reprints and enlargements as holiday gifts and be on the lookout for our holiday card order form that will be showing up in your inbox soon! |

While I was in Greece, I got a call from a bride who is getting married in London on August 16th and wants to talk to me about shooting her wedding. Unfortunately the phone connection was bad and I didn't get her name, nor could I make out her phone number. If you are reading this, please call back ASAP!
