This blog follows both my personal and professional life, and features images from the weddings I shoot, the places I travel and the friends and family members that mean so much to me. turkish textures   05.10.2009 Finally got back online with free WiFi on the train to Gothenburg. Here are a few textures from Istanbul. I really enjoyed walking around that old, old city and I did my best to brush up on 11th grade world history, but it's all a blur. Istanbul not Constantinople   05.09.2009 Seriously folks, Istanbul has to be one of the most interesting cities I have ever been to. There is so much history here, so much culture, texture, color and things to see. Even though I took tons of images, I feel I didn't even come close to capturing the essence of this city and I feel like I could easily spend two weeks here instead of just two days. The Spice Market   05.08.2009 Istanbul (not Constantinople for you TMBG fans) has to be the most interesting city I have ever been to. There is so much history here and we are running around like crazy shooting photos. Union Station, Los Angeles   05.07.2009 Just to mix it up, here are some images that I shot in downtown LA last Thursday with my friend Jeffrey Neal on a little photo safari. We took the train up to Union station and just walked around for the afternoon, before cruising back down for our poker league night at my place. old town, stockholm part 2   05.06.2009 Earlier today I did my first of two presentations to around 25 photographers from Sweden and we had an amazing day. I crammed in as much inspiration, motivation, education and hopefully entertainment as I possible could. old town, stockholm part 1   05.05.2009 So far, I am absolutely loving Sweden. Stockholm is such a charming city. On the first day, we arrived around noon, checked in to the hotel and then walked around for a bit just getting the lay of the land. The White House's Flickr Photostream   05.04.2009 One of my new favorite things to subscribe to is the White House Photostream on Flickr. It has some very interesting images of the President & his staff. I think photographer Pete Souza is the official photographer and most of the images were taken by him. SNA ENG SESSION   05.03.2009 I shot an interesting engagement session the other day. We started off at John Wayne Airport as it has become a special place for this couple as they've had a long distance relationship and they've been racking up some frequent flier miles on Southwest.
