Done! Gorgeous wedding at the Holman Ranch. I can't wait to share some images with y'all. What a gorgeous venue and a perfect day.  |  Follow me

Hey there! My name is Becker and I am a wedding photographer
from Orange County, California who specializes in capturing relaxed portraits, amazing details and real moments for the coolest brides and grooms on the planet.

This blog follows both my personal and professional life, and features images from the weddings I shoot, the places I travel and the friends and family members that mean so much to me. It's basically like my own personal photo album combined with an information source for my current and potential clients and a source of inspiration and education for other photographers. This site is a little more informal and I just want to give everyone a sense of who I am and what I am all about. Thanks for visiting.

Finally got back online with free WiFi on the train to Gothenburg. Here are a few textures from Istanbul. I really enjoyed walking around that old, old city and I did my best to brush up on 11th grade world history, but it's all a blur. We spent more of our time shooting photos, but we did manage do go to one of the Turkish baths. It was an experience for sure. You basically just lie around on...

Seriously folks, Istanbul has to be one of the most interesting cities I have ever been to. There is so much history here, so much culture, texture, color and things to see. Even though I took tons of images, I feel I didn't even come close to capturing the essence of this city and I feel like I could easily spend two weeks here instead of just two days. I am definitely going to come back some...

Istanbul (not Constantinople for you TMBG fans) has to be the most interesting city I have ever been to. There is so much history here and we are running around like crazy shooting photos. Here are just a few shots from the famous spice market to hold you over until I am able to process the rest of the images. I was in mid edit last night in the lounge at the W hotel and I literally fell asleep...

Just to mix it up, here are some images that I shot in downtown LA last Thursday with my friend Jeffrey Neal on a little photo safari. We took the train up to Union station and just walked around for the afternoon, before cruising back down for our poker league night at my place. The [ b ] School SoCal Day Tripping clubs is going on a field trip this coming Tuesday to do the same thing (click here...

Earlier today I did my first of two presentations to around 25 photographers from Sweden and we had an amazing day. I crammed in as much inspiration, motivation, education and hopefully entertainment as I possible could. The people were warm and wonderful, unlike the weather (although it was actually a decent day compared to the last few. I'll post some of the images from our shoot later this...

So far, I am absolutely loving Sweden. Stockholm is such a charming city. On the first day, we arrived around noon, checked in to the hotel and then walked around for a bit just getting the lay of the land. We had a nice lunch and did some shopping followed by a little poker action at the casino which is conveniently only a 5 minute walk from our hotel. Jessica Claire actually took first place in...

One of my new favorite things to subscribe to is the White House Photostream on Flickr. It has some very interesting images of the President & his staff. I think photographer Pete Souza is the official photographer and most of the images were taken by him. (He's an amazing photographer BTW). I think being the President's personal photographer has to be the coolest gig on the planet. Imagine the...

I shot an interesting engagement session the other day. We started off at John Wayne Airport as it has become a special place for this couple as they've had a long distance relationship and they've been racking up some frequent flier miles on Southwest. Surprisingly, security didn't boot us out right away. I attribute that to my ninja like skills.

I can't believe my little sister is like in her mid 30's! Argh... where has the time gone? Happy Birthday April! You can thank me for not posting that one picture I have of you from when you helped me at that charity event. Remember?
