| Hey all, I added a bunch of new photos to my personal portfolio website at thebecker.net including two complete new galleries. One features images shot in Santorini last year and the other showcases a few images from Burning Man 2007. Speaking of Burning Man, I'll be headed back there this summer and if you are going, let me know and perhaps we'll cross paths.

| Hey all, I hope you've been enjoying your Memorial Day as I have. I am so thankful to be able to have a nice, relaxing afternoon with my family. My heart goes out to those who have lost loved ones fighting for the freedoms we take for granted on a regular basis. My thought and prayers are with you.

| One of my favorite brands in Oakley. The make high end performance sunglasses (among other things like watches, shoes and apparel). While they may not be the hippest, most fashionable, trendy shades around... few can argue with the fact they they are the best made sunglasses in the world.
The founder of Oakley, Jim Jannard used to come into the photo lab that I worked at when I was in high school. I got to know him a bit over the years and even shot two of his daughters weddings. I was always so impressed with his vision for his company and his passion for making the best performance sunglasses in the world. From their website: "It's in our DNA to identify problems, create inventions and wrap those inventions in art. And simply to make things better than anyone thought possible." In years past, I was actually able to shoot several events for Oakley including share holder meetings, parties and even a tour of the building when it opened in Foothill Ranch back in the 90's (the place in amazing). I also used to love the interchangeable lenses and ear-stems when i was in Jr. High. I love Oakleys because they are super comfortable, light and made so well.
