Hey there! My name is Becker and I am a wedding photographer
from Orange County, California who specializes in capturing relaxed portraits, amazing details and real moments for the coolest brides and grooms on the planet.
This blog follows both my personal and professional life, and features images from the weddings I shoot, the places I travel and the friends and family members that mean so much to me. It's basically like my own personal photo album combined with an information source for my current and potential clients and a source of inspiration and education for other photographers. 03.31.2010 Just in the nick of time, I am posting the "Photo of the Month" for March 2010. This photo was taken during a model shoot this past Monday in Palos Verdes. The model I was shooting told me about an awesome beach that had killer rocks, nice light and some privacy. Unfortunately she forgot to mention the 30 minute hike and after my flag football injuries this past weekend, it was extra taxing... but...

03.23.2010 Last Saturday I photographed a wedding at the Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel for the "I can't even keep track-th" time. I've shot more weddings at this Ritz Carlton more than just about any other single venue and each time I go there, it's always an incredible day. The hotel is newly remodeled, the staff is excellent and the service is top notch. Well as expected, last weekends wedding was incredible...

03.21.2010 When I walked into the bride's suite at the Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel and saw her gown hanging in the window, I knew it was going to be a beautiful wedding to photograph. It was one of the most unique wedding dresses that I've ever seen. The designer is Manual Mota for Pronovias.

03.19.2010 A lot of photographers credit me as having a well defined brand, or as a branding & marketing expert. Sure, I know a little, but it's only because of the team at Reddoor who has helped me along the way and taken such good care of me and my image.
They have outed me and and showed some of my pre [ b ] logo business cards, as well as the evolution of my brand over the last dozen years or so....

03.17.2010 Well, even though I still haven't even fully recovered from WPPI 2010, I wanted to share a little recap and thank everyone who helped me have an unforgettable week. Each year I look forward to WPPI as a chance to get inspired, connect, see old friends, meet new ones and basically get pumped up about the upcoming wedding season. This year was no exception. I had a great week... lost my voice again...

03.16.2010 This past Saturday I kicked off my wedding season with a gorgeous wedding at the legendary Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego County. It's a gorgeous property for wedding photography and the service rivals that of any of the top hotels. It was flawlessly coordinated by Jessica and her team at Events by Design and Marcia L. 03.05.2010 The other day I shot a last minute engagement session for a couple that is getting married next weekend. We had several dates scheduled in the past, but they just happened to be on rare Southern California rainy days. We shot these engagement photos at a park in San Clemente near the groom's house and they are getting married next weekend in San Diego.
