10.31.2008 Just got home from trick or treating with my niece & nephew. I am winded... I could barely keep up with Caden running through the streets of his neighborhood. Here is as a spooky bat. I was so cute to see him flap his wings as he went house to house tonight.

10.28.2008 This past Sunday I shot a wonderful wedding at one of Orange County's premiere locations, The Montage Resort in Laguna Beach. It was coordinated by the one and only Kathy Jo Peterson. It was a perfect sunday afternoon fall day in Southern California, with many folks from Ohio in attendance. (That's where the couple is from).

10.26.2008 Last week, I shot a lovely couple on the streets of Manhattan. It sure is a little different shooting than shooting on the beach in sunny SoCal. Ironically, these two are getting married at the Montage in Laguna Beach (where I am shooting later this afternoon). But I had a great time playing around in the big city and here are a few of my favorites from the session.

10.21.2008 Before I left town, I spend some time with the family on our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. Of course I brought out the big camera and tried to get some nice shot of my niece and nephew... it went a lot better than last year.

10.19.2008 Last Friday I shot a wedding at Rancho Capistrano for the niece of my office manager Kathleen. It was a beautiful day and we had a really nice time. I had never met the couple prior to the wedding day since they live in Chicago, but the made us feel welcome from the very beginning. All in all it was another great wedding with nice weather, great light, an awesome location and fabulous people.

10.16.2008 I'm 35 today.
I feel like I should be having a mid life crisis since I am 35, unmarried with no children... that I know of! (my mom hates that joke!). Time for a sports car! Actually... I am going to hold off on the new car for a while. I kinda like not having a car payment.
