Hey there! My name is Becker and I am a wedding photographer
from Orange County, California who specializes in capturing relaxed portraits, amazing details and real moments for the coolest brides and grooms on the planet.
This blog follows both my personal and professional life, and features images from the weddings I shoot, the places I travel and the friends and family members that mean so much to me. It's basically like my own personal photo album combined with an information source for my current and potential clients and a source of inspiration and education for other photographers. This site is a little more informal and I just want to give everyone a sense of who I am and what I am all about. Thanks for visiting. |

01.31.2012 Last week I was down in Oceanside at the Camp Pendleton Marine Base for a very special portrait session. I was contacted a while back by the Hearts Apart organization and they asked me if I'd be interested in donating a session to a couple who would soon be separated due to a military deployment.
Brandon is heading back to Afghanistan next month and Amy is due with their first baby boy just a...

12.11.2011 Last weekend I closed out my 15th season as a professional wedding photographer by shooting an exquisite wedding at the incomparable Pelican Hill Resort. It was one of those picture perfect Southern California days... the weather was gorgeous... as was the bride and the details & decor were simply stunning. Square Root provided the florals and Laurie Davies from Five Star Weddings coordinated the...

11.25.2011 Last week I shot a last minute engagement session down in Laguna Beach. These two are tying the knot next weekend in Newport Beach at the exclusive Pelican Hill Resort and I am really looking forward to their day. These guys were so cute together and had a lot of fun on the shoot. Should be a really nice wedding!

10.04.2011 This past weekend I found myself in Stonington, Connecticut at the Saltwater Farm Vineyard for a beautiful fall wedding. The bride is actually a photographer herself, and I always feel honored when other photographers choose me to document their day. I also feel very grateful when couples go to the extra effort and expense to fly me out to their weddings, so in this case... I was extra excited to...

09.21.2011 Last Friday I shot an incredible wedding at the Casa Del Mar Hotel in Santa Monica, California. The bride was gorgeous... (the groom cleaned up alright too), the people were so fun, the details were amazing and the band rocked and had the guests dancing all night! It was also great to work again with Terri from Bellisimo Events.
The bride wore Vera Wang:

09.13.2011 Last Saturday I shot an incredibly beautiful Persian wedding at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach. It was so nice! They families were wonderful. The couple was so relaxed and comfortable... no one seemed nervous at all. It was just one of those weddings that went off so smoothly and their guest just helped them celebrate the start of their lives together as man and wife.
As per usual, I showed...

09.06.2011 I shot my second destination wedding in Bermuda a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to share a few of my favorite relaxed portraits, amazing details and real moments with you. This was actually a last minute booking as I was only hired in July. At first, the bride wasn't going to hire a professional photographer, but thankfully her mother convinced her how important it is to have a professional...

08.20.2011 I'm finally getting a chance to blog this engagement session that I shot just before leaving for Ireland. These two are actually tying the knot over Labor Day weekend in Newport Beach. We shot these images around the OC Performing Arts Center. I say around because we kept getting hassled by the security guards for shooting on the property. As always... I am a big fan of asking for forgiveness...

08.09.2011 Last summer the mother of some of my former brides called and asked if I was available on August 6th. I checked my schedule and told her I was. She then asked if I would be willing to travel to Ireland for a wedding. I replied, "Of course!"
She replied, "Great... your hired!" and that was the easiest job I have ever booked!
You see, this was now the 4th (and final) daughter in the Bishop...
