Hey there! My name is Becker and I am a wedding photographer
from Orange County, California who specializes in capturing relaxed portraits, amazing details and real moments for the coolest brides and grooms on the planet.
This blog follows both my personal and professional life, and features images from the weddings I shoot, the places I travel and the friends and family members that mean so much to me. It's basically like my own personal photo album combined with an information source for my current and potential clients and a source of inspiration and education for other photographers. This site is a little more informal and I just want to give everyone a sense of who I am and what I am all about. Thanks for visiting. |

08.18.2010 I shot Dan & Juliet's wedding in New Orleans back in 2004 (before I was blogging or I'd link to the post). Now they have a 3 and a half year old and twin 1 and a half year olds. I got a serious workout chasing these kids around a Long Beach park yesterday afternoon. I was winded and sore when the shoot was over and the kids weren't the only ones in need of a nap.

08.03.2010 This past Saturday my wedding was at one of the more unique wedding venues I've ever shot at. The Orella Ranch in Santa Barbara was incredible. It has a wonderful view of the Pacific and some nice natural areas for the cocktail hour and reception nestled amongst giant oak trees. The couple is from Washington DC and they rented a house in Santa Barbara for the week for the wedding party to stay....

07.30.2010 Utterly Engaged, an online wedding magazine, celebrated it's first anniversary yesterday by hosting the "ultimate hoedown bbq throwdown" at Irvine Park in Orange. It was a gorgeous day and a nice location for doing some networking with other wedding vendors. The food was amazing. 3 different types of barbecue and all kinds of sweet treats. I snagged a few shots with my point & shoot camera.

07.27.2010 This past weekend I shot a wonderful wedding with my friend Joe Photo. It was my first Indian wedding and I was thrilled Joe asked me to tag along. It was a gorgeous day at a beautiful location, Rancho Sol Del Pacifico. Bloom Box provided the amazing florals.

07.21.2010 Quoting the priest from the ceremony this past Saturday:
"Some may say this couple met by accident..."
In fact, the bride actually rear ended the groom on a busy Southern California freeway. No one was hurt, info was exchanged, and there was some sort of spark. The rest, as they say, is history.

07.19.2010 This last Friday I kicked off a back to back wedding weekend down in Dana Point, California. I was so thankful to be along the coast during this crazy Southern California heatwave as the temperatures along the coast were really quite pleasant. The wedding and reception too place at Cannons Restaurant.

06.23.2010 A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding with Jessica Claire in Newport Beach, California. When Jessica first moved to California, she used to second shoot for me quite often, but now she's shooting some amazing weddings on her own and I am always happy to return the favor.

05.19.2010 This past weekend I shot another wonderful wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel. The ceremony was actually at South Shores Church, the the bride got ready at the Ritz and that's where the reception was. It was a wonderful wedding and the couple was so cute together. 05.11.2010 A fresh batch of Custom Photo Stamps from Stamps.com came in today. I love these things and I've been using them for years (way back from when stamps were $.39 each). Sure, they cost a little more, but I just think it's a cool way to personalize your correspondence.
