04.28.2013 I want to wish a very special congratulations to my parental units who are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today!
These two high school sweethearts are more in love today than they were on April 28, 1973.
While no family is perfect, and of course we all have our issues and family drama, I have always thought that my sister April and I hit the jackpot in the parents department....

04.09.2013 Today my sweet niece Addison turns 5 years old! Seems like only yesterday when she was born. We celebrated this past weekend and I shot her annual [ b ] day portraits as per usual, as well as a few from her party at My Gym. I know I am biased, but I don't think there's a cuter or more precious child on this planet. Addy is so sweet and and brings so much joy to our family. We all love her so much!

02.09.2013 Today was like Christmas all over again! Keats & I went to LA Bacon Festival at the Peterson Auto Museum on the Miracle Mile and it was glorious! Over 45 vendors from different Southland restaurants... all sharing some sort of bacon-ey goodness.
Some of the favorite things we sampled were:

01.01.2013 2013 is here and I couldn't be more excited! 2012 was a crazy year for me personally... I went through lots of changes and had a hard time staying focused, and unfortunately I didn't accomplish all that I had set out to. This year is going to be different!

10.24.2012 Yesterday I took the annual trek to the pumpkin patch with my sister's family to shoot some new portraits of the kiddos. The Norwood family also came along as I wanted so badly to shoot baby Locke in his gnome costume.
It didn't start off so well... but we were cracking up about how upset he was with his beard:

07.18.2012 And she loaded up her truck and moved to Ladera... Ranch that is!
11 days ago, Ashley & I loaded up her brand new Ford Escape and set out on a 2,131 mile 5 day road trip between St. Louis and Southern California. While she'll be spending a lot more time in the OC, she still has her place in the STL as she'll be traveling back and forth taking care of her midwestern clients.

04.16.2012 I've been a bad blogger. It's been a crazy 2012 so far, actually the last 7 or 8 months have been pretty nuts, but I wanted to share some images from our trip to London & Paris from back in January.
I spoke at the Mystic Seminar in Connecticut the second week of January, then my girlfriend Ashley met me in NYC and we flew to London together. I was speaking at SWPP for the second year in a row....
