Hey there! My name is Becker and I am a wedding photographer
from Orange County, California who specializes in capturing relaxed portraits, amazing details and real moments for the coolest brides and grooms on the planet.
This blog follows both my personal and professional life, and features images from the weddings I shoot, the places I travel and the friends and family members that mean so much to me. It's basically like my own personal photo album combined with an information source for my current and potential clients and a source of inspiration and education for other photographers. This site is a little more informal and I just want to give everyone a sense of who I am and what I am all about. Thanks for visiting. |

11.17.2011 My dad turned 60 today, which means he's now officially old! We had dinner with the family at my sister's place tonight, and I took a few portraits of him so he can look back and remember what he looked like when he turned the big 6-0. He's actually still pretty young looking and full of life. My dad is my best friend and he has been for a long time. I know I've mentioned it before, but my sister...

10.23.2011 Yesterday I went to the pumpkin patch with my two favorite models for their annual fall photo shoot. It was nuts... we went to Irvine park with what seemed to be thousands of other people. I had to park & hike and weave my way through a million little rug rats to find my niece & nephew. It was a gorgeous, picture perfect day though, so it was all worth it.
I can't believe how fast these kids...

08.22.2011 Being part Irish and a huge U2 fan, I've always wanted to go to Ireland. It's been on my list forever, but I never seemed to find a chance to go there. As per usual, I travel so much for business, that I rarely just take a trip somewhere, and i knew eventually someone would hire me to shoot a wedding in Ireland, and that finally happened a couple of weeks ago... check out the photos from the...

07.31.2011 Warning: This post contains just shy of 100 images and may take a while to load.
I got my first digital camera a little over 10 years ago, and if you missed part 1 of "a decade of digital", you may want to check it out here before proceeding.
Ok, let's continue our trip down memory lane...
2006 was a great year. i had been shooting digitally for about 5 years, and this was the first year...

07.29.2011 The other day we made our annual trek to the OC fair to take Caden & Addison on some rides & to eat some food on a stick. This year was a little different as it wasn't a cheat day, so I managed to be a model of self discipline and didn't eat any deep friend Twinkies, chocolate covered bacon, or any other fair fare. I just took some photos of my niece & nephew and devoured a protein bar that I...

07.20.2011 **Warning, this may be my longest blog post ever. Lots of images, but I'd love for you to take a trip down memory lane with me.**
Ten years ago today... I got my very first digital camera. It was a Nikon D1x that I had ordered in April of 2001, and I paid $5,500 for it (then I eventually got a second one). There was a long waiting list for them, and it finally arrived on July 20th... I remember...
