11.06.2012 Last weekend I found myself in the Rocky Mountains west of Denver at Devil's Thumb Ranch for a wedding of another photographer. I met Mark Cafiero back in 2005, when he attended a photography workshop that I hosted in new York City and we have been friends ever since. Mark is a very talented photographer in his own right and I was honored that he chose me to document his day. I actually 2nd shot...

10.24.2012 Yesterday I took the annual trek to the pumpkin patch with my sister's family to shoot some new portraits of the kiddos. The Norwood family also came along as I wanted so badly to shoot baby Locke in his gnome costume.
It didn't start off so well... but we were cracking up about how upset he was with his beard:

10.02.2012 Last Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting a very nice wedding at The O'Donnell House in Palm Springs. It was a hot day, but thankfully there was enough shade and I didn't die of heat exhaustion. I actually shot the bride's sister's wedding 12 years ago (her kids are the flower girl and ring bearer pictured below). It was a beautiful wedding at a wonderful venue set in the hills above Palm...

09.25.2012 Last Saturday I shot my first wedding in St. Louis (thanks to Ashley Douthit for the referral). It was a beautiful weekend in the heartland and the ceremony took place at Saint Francis Xavier on the campus of St. Louis University. Since we had several hours between the ceremony & the reception, we stopped at Tower Grove Park, "The Arch" & Busch Stadium for some portraits before heading to the...

09.13.2012 This past Saturday I found myself in the glorious Napa Valley to shoot an amazing wedding for two beautiful souls. The day started out at the Westin in Napa where Veronica Passalacqua did an amazing job on the bride's make up. We also shot the dress, shoes and other detail shots before heading off to St. Joan of Arc church in Yountville for the ceremony. Tab from Classic Convertible Wine Tours...

09.04.2012 Last Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting an amazing wedding at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes for a wonderful couple. It was just one of those days where everything was perfect... the weather, the venue, the details and the couple was so sweet and in love.
It was also wonderful to work with such a dream team of professional vendors:
Coordinator: Sharon Gall
Florist:...

07.25.2012 One of my favorite models that I ever shot, May Lindstrom, is expecting her first child any day. She was such a trooper and road tripped out to the desert last week to shoot some daring maternity photos at the El Mirage dry lake bed. It was an awesome session... the location is super cool, the weather was perfect and the light was beautiful. It also helps that may is absolutely gorgeous. I love...
